On Sunday 20th June 2010 Briantspuddle Singers hosted a singing workshop at Herrison Hall, Charlton Down, near Dorchester, to  rehearse and perform Purcell's opera Dido and Aeneus.

Led by musical director, Richard Hall, some seventy singers, a four piece orchestra and local soloists, under direction of choir member Nickie Johnson, staged the production. Pippa Goss sang the role of Dido.
